For fechtnach means righteous: that is, for the truth of his reign he was called Feradach Fechtnach. For in his time was the Collar of Morann and Morann himself. 'Tis that Collar of Morann that used to declare truth to every one. Therefore the agnomen (Fechtnach) was given to Feradach.	Feradach Fechtnach, “le Juste”, en raison de la fechtnaige — la justice ou droiture — de son règne sur l’Irlande. Car fechtnach signifie “juste”, et c’est à cause de la vérité et de la droiture de son règne qu’on l’appela Feradach Fechtnach. À la fin, Conn n’eut pas d’autre fils que Art seul, car Connla et Crinna, les autres fils de Conn, étaient tombés par la main d’Eochaid Finn et de Fíacha Suigde.
